Aquarium Restaurant Cala'n Bosch
Aquarium opened in 2014 in the Cala’n Bosch marina with views over the so-called “Lake”. Open during the summer season, it is stylishly decorated in a seaside style, has an impressive 13-metre-long aquarium, floor, and walls in jatoba wood, a wine cellar with island wines and the best-known denominations of origin, several old boat contraptions and a llaüt (Balearic fishing boat) at the entrance that serves as a display for the day's catch.
Aquarium has an extensive terrace with fans, a spectacular terrace at the edge of the harbour, an indoor dining room and an adults-only indoor dining room, “The Camarote”. This space has acoustic absorption panels and softer lighting, creating a more peaceful and romantic effect.
The cuisine is pure Mediterranean with quality as its banner and professional and friendly service. At Aquarium they are experts in rice dishes and paellas, red tuna (Balfégo quality), lobster stew, fish and seafood from the island. Its star dishes include authentic red tuna tataki, lobster stew, succulent rice with red shrimps, fried John Dory with fried garlic and onion and salted sea bass.
Diving into the Aquarium restaurant and enjoying the quality of well-cooked produce is without a doubt a summer appointment not to be missed.
